About This Loan
Few Jamaicans make fiscal allocations for unexpected natural disasters. Gateway wants to be proactive in providing providing financing (both unsecured and secured loans) of a maximum of $200,000 to ensure the safety of the lives and properties of our members. This is a promotion that will be lasting from May 1 to November 30, 2019.

Gateway Co-operative Credit Union Members/Shareholders who want insurance against hurricane damage
Cornwall County residents who want insurance against hurricane/tropical storm/storm damage
Cornwall County residents who want funds to protect their assets (car, house etc) against possible damage
Cornwall County parents who want funds to protect themselves and their family
Cornwall County residents who want funds to purchase hurricane related emergency supplies

What Are The Requirements To Apply For This Loan?
You must be in a stable job position for at least 1 year. If you are self employed then you may be considered for this special only if you have an excellent internal credit history (at Gateway).
Taking the loan is only for hurricane preparedness, which includes but is not limited to:

purchasing of generators
-
storm shutters
-
garage doors
-
re-roofing/roof-reinforcement
-
plyboards
-
storage tank
-
clearing of property
Invoices for items to be purchased must be presented and payments made to institutions where necessary or applicable
$10,000 in shares at Gateway as well as acceptable collateral.
